He will smile at you from across the room. This is where it begins.
He will make you laugh. You’ll hold your stomach and wonder how you’ve gone so long without someone like him in your life.
He will give you butterflies. He’ll kiss you like you’re the only girl he’s ever touched before, and you’ll feel so incredibly special.
He will make you cry. He won’t mean to, but he will. Your heart will burn and you’ll wonder how it’s possible to feel this amount of anger toward someone you love.
He will make you feel invincible. His love will fill the cracks of your heart that have been missing all this time, and you’ll feel complete when you’re with him.
He will become your best friend. Good times will be better, bad times will be okay again, and jokes will be funnier with him by your side.
He will break your heart. But he will break his own, too. And you will wonder why he’s doing this if his own tears are falling down his face.
He will still be there. In the very foundation of who you are, he will remain. The cracks he filled in your heart will not mend properly, and his love will float around, haunting you as if it’s a ghost.
He will matter. He will always matter. But this is where it ends.
